Human Resources Business Partner
Job Description
This on-site Human Resources Business Partner role at CEVA Logistics is based in East Liberty, OH and supports HR delivery across assigned locations, emphasizing employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary actions, with complex or high-risk issues escalated as needed
- Support the performance management process to ensure timely completion, thorough documentation, and effective execution by managers
- Provide local input into People Reviews and implement development plans for key talent
- Track headcount, vacancies, and attrition; collaborate with recruiting to support hiring needs
- Serve as the first point of contact for managers on HR policies, procedures, and day-to-day people decisions
- Lead engagement initiatives and support site-level survey action plans
- Maintain accurate HR data and generate reports on key metrics, identifying trends and escalating risks as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in roles such as HRBP, Generalist, or similar
- Experience supporting unionized environments, including labor relations and collective bargaining agreements
- Strong background in employee relations, investigations, and performance management
- Experience supporting fast-paced, operational environments
- Ability to balance execution with sound judgment and escalation when appropriate
- Strong communication and coaching skills with frontline leaders
- Comfort working with HR data, metrics, and workforce reporting
Compensation
Salary: USD 80,000–95,000 per year
