Job Description

The Human Resources Business Partner provides leadership and day-to-day direction for routine HR functions at iwis-Daido, LLC. This onsite role in Murray, KY supports recruitment and onboarding, HR compliance, employee relations, training coordination, documentation management, and policy implementation across departments.

Role Overview

In this position, you will lead standard HR processes and help ensure HR policies and practices are applied compliantly. The role covers recruiting and interview coordination, payroll-related support, immigration support as needed, safety program leadership, employee relations, internal communications, and ongoing monitoring of HR issues and development opportunities. You will also maintain HR documentation and statistics for line managers and executive management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of standard HR strategy, including policies, planning procedures, and practical implementation guidelines.
  • Lead the employee recruitment and onboarding process, including conducting job interviews.
  • Support HR policy development, personnel relations, personnel training and development, and HR compliance within the standard HR scope.
  • Plan, budget, and implement personnel growth initiatives to sustain business demand.
  • Manage vendors for recruitment and training activities.
  • Serve as an internal HR service provider and ensure compliant implementation of HR policies across departments.
  • Assist with resolving staff complaints and HR-related problems.
  • Ensure compliance with employment contracts with regional legal frameworks.
  • Compile human resources statistics for line managers and executive management.
  • Provide regular communication and information to functional and disciplinary heads.
  • Work closely with Plant Management to administer HR policies and procedures.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on HR issues and development opportunities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of HR development theories, methods, applicable laws, and policy changes.
  • Audit and maintain HR-related documents and files, including employee records, legal documents, and salary statements.
  • Coordinate, document, and track internal and external training, including support for iwis internal development programs.
  • Participate in employee and management meetings and lead meetings as needed.
  • Support employee disciplinary meetings as needed by documenting actions.
  • Support the provision of necessary employee documentation for State and Federal government agencies.
  • Develop and maintain positive employee relations and retention strategies.
  • Provide and implement continuous improvement and cost-saving ideas.
  • Provide immigration support as needed.
  • Lead the Safety Program.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or other related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in an HR generalist function within a manufacturing company.
  • Extensive practical working knowledge of best-practice HR processes and tools.
  • Experience communicating with external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and understanding of employment legislation (Labor Code).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the internet.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of HRIS systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees, customers, vendors, and management.
  • Excellent planning and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PHR or SHRM certification.
