Human Resources Business Partner

Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to deliver hands-on, day-to-day HR support for the HR Manager, business leaders, and associates across generalist HR functions. Based in Phoenix, AZ and working onsite, this role uses established HR practices, processes, and tools to support business needs while strengthening employee-centered outcomes.

In this position, you will partner closely with HR and operational teams to help ensure compliance, support effective employee relations, and provide guidance on performance management and progressive discipline. You will also maintain HR documentation and reporting, and assist with unemployment claims and related hearings as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the HR Manager in protecting the interests of employees and Shamrock Foods by ensuring legal requirements for equal employment and compliance are met.
• Coordinate and/or conduct employee-relations activities and programs, including employee counseling, policy interpretation, employee investigations, and disciplinary meetings.
• Counsel management on employment issues and advise on SMART (performance management system and process) as well as the company’s progressive discipline approach.
• Build and foster strong professional relationships across sectors and locations, and collaborate effectively with other parts of HR.
• Maintain employee-related databases and document control, and prepare and analyze HR-related reports.
• Assist with unemployment claims/hearings by providing accurate information to the third-party administrator and testifying as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of HR or related experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with some hands-on experience.
• Experience in foodservice distribution, manufacturing, or dairy operations is preferred.
• HRIS experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to initiate documentation and drafts, and excellent written and verbal skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
• Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment (Word, PPT, Excel).
