Responsibilities
- Maintain employee records in HR systems, network folders, and electronic files while preserving confidentiality and accuracy
- Assist in converting paper employee files to digital formats and improve HR document management
- Compile and maintain HR data, reports, and documentation as requested
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires, prepare new hire packages, and gather onboarding documentation
- Conduct new hire orientation sessions and assist employees with onboarding requirements and HR questions
- Support administration of the Learning Management System, including training assignments and tracking completion
- Assist with the employee termination process, including documentation and exit procedures
- Respond to or escalate inquiries from prospective, current, and former employees regarding HR policies and processes
- Help schedule meetings and document HR discussions with follow-up actions
- Support the preparation of HR reports, presentations, and materials for internal meetings
- Assist with HR communications and employee engagement activities
- Participate in HR process improvements to enhance administrative workflows
- Assist Talent Acquisition partners with recruitment for select roles, including coordinating interviews and candidate communications
- Conduct initial candidate phone screens for select roles and assist with recruitment tracking
- Maintain working knowledge of applicable employment laws and support compliance with HR policies and regulations including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of HR operations
Requirements
- Associate's degree required
- Basic knowledge of employment and labor laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO
