Job Description

Join RADER FARMS INC. as a Human Resources Generalist in Bellingham, WA. This onsite role covers the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and training. The position offers an hourly wage of $26.00 to $32.00 and a benefits package designed to support employees and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Lead hiring for all company departments and coordinate candidate screening for entry-level and non-exempt roles
  • Administer health and welfare plans, processing enrollments and terminations via payroll and insurance systems
  • Keep HR files, records, and documentation accurate and up to date
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring current contact details, job classification, pay rates, org structure, and other key information
  • Track active job openings and applications; manage internal and external postings
  • Conduct initial interviews or schedule preliminary interviews as needed
  • Handle staffing changes documentation, including severance, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves
  • Assist with record audits and mandatory reports such as I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews
  • Answer routine questions from applicants and employees regarding policies, benefits, and hiring processes; escalate complex issues to higher level HR staff
  • Protect the confidentiality of HR records and information
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the employee handbook and HR policies
  • Support the corrective action program and new employee onboarding procedures
  • Assist with interviews and contribute to benefits enrollment and organizational events
  • Maintain department records and reports, and keep the company directory and org charts up to date
  • Deliver and coordinate employee trainings
  • Support payroll and benefits administration
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities with the capacity to handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Ability to quickly learn payroll management, HR information systems, and similar applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Clear written and spoken communication for interaction with employees and HR team, and for group presentations
  • Ability to read and interpret information effectively
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently
  • Organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
  • HS Diploma or related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Punjabi
