Job Description

NHOMS Payroll Services Inc is expanding its People Operations leadership with an additional Human Resources Generalist. This onsite role in Nashua, NH supports roughly 150 employees across multiple locations and collaborates with leadership to strengthen culture, compliance, employee engagement, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Benefits administration across plans and renewals
  • Payroll administration and processing support
  • Leave management and attendance tracking
  • Employee relations and issue resolution
  • HR compliance and risk management initiatives
  • HRIS administration and reporting
  • Performance management support and processes
  • Workforce planning and recruiting support
  • Continuing education and workforce compliance considerations
  • Culture and employee engagement programs
  • Organizational growth and change management efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required or commensurate experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in human resources
  • Experience administering payroll and benefits
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience leading annual benefits renewals and open enrollment processes, including broker management, carrier negotiations, employee communications, and benefits administration

Business Need

As NHOMS continues to stabilize and scale, the organization is adding a second HR Generalist to the People Operations team. The role provides redundancy, continuity, and strategic capacity across all HR functions while supporting employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and the overall organizational culture.

12-Month Success Profile

  • Develop strong relationships with leaders and employees
  • Become proficient in HR systems, payroll, and benefits administration
  • Lead the benefits renewal and open enrollment cycle as the primary contact for brokers, carriers, leadership, and staff, managing all lifecycle stages
  • Independently manage employee relations matters
  • Lead key HR operational processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership
  • Enhance employee engagement and retention efforts
  • Strengthen compliance and audit readiness
