Job Description

NorthgateHR Partners LLC seeks a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations in a manufacturing environment, partnering with ownership and senior leadership to strengthen the HR foundation and support growth. Based onsite in Medley, Florida, this role shapes culture, performance, and organizational effectiveness while driving scalable people practices.

Position Summary

As a strategic and operational HR leader, you will oversee all human resources activities within a manufacturing setting, aligning people strategies with business goals and driving programs that scale with the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with ownership and leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives
  • Coach managers to enhance leadership effectiveness and bolster employee accountability
  • Drive organizational growth through effective HR programs and initiatives
  • Handle employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide actionable feedback and coaching
  • Foster a positive, accountable, high-performance workplace culture
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Identify workforce development needs and implement training and development initiatives
  • Support employee engagement and retention strategies
  • Oversee weekly payroll processing with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Support workplace safety compliance, reporting, and related initiatives
  • Utilize Paylocity to manage employee data and reporting
  • Leverage technology and AI tools to enhance HR efficiency and processes
  • Maintain accurate HR records and uphold confidentiality

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Generalist and/or HR Manager responsibilities
  • Previous experience supporting a manufacturing, production, or industrial workforce
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Paylocity or similar systems
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all organizational levels
  • Track record of supporting organizational growth and cultural development
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Experience leveraging technology and AI tools to improve operational efficiency
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including generalist and managerial roles; experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Location & Work Arrangement

Medley, FL 33166, onsite. This is an in-person role.

USD 80,000 per year
