Responsibilities

• Create and post job advertisements
• Review resumes and candidate applications, including conducting reference checks as needed
• Join interview processes and contribute to selection decisions
• Facilitate onboarding and initial training for new hires
• Maintain personnel records, I-9s, and other required documentation
• Oversee benefits administration, including continuing education support, uniform allowance, paid time off, health coverage, and the 401(k) plan
• Monitor drug screening and background check results
• Notify managers of upcoming performance review dates
• Participate in performance appraisal processes
• Update employee records as needed
• Address employee concerns and involve managers as appropriate
• Support disciplinary actions when required
• Track and audit workers' compensation claims
• Review and update the employee handbook on an annual basis
• Analyze and monitor compensation scales
• Update veterinarians' contracts annually
• Handle job and wage verification requests
• Respond to employment reference checks
• Complete miscellaneous human resource duties as assigned

Compensation

Salary from USD 50,000 per year.
