Human Resources Manager
Job Description
The Human Resources Manager at Legends Global oversees HR operations at the Tucson, AZ site, including compliance, recruitment and onboarding, benefits administration, training, employee relations, and performance and salary programs, with direct supervision of HR activities onsite.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Legends Global HR and business conduct policies and with applicable legal and government reporting requirements, including state employment regulations.
- Administer HR plans and procedures for all facility personnel.
- Lead recruitment activities, write and place advertisements, and manage candidate screening.
- Conduct interviews, tests, and selections to fill vacant positions.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientations.
- Maintain records for benefits participation, hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and government reporting statistics.
- Coordinate training or train managers in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance management, safety, and harassment prevention; deliver Legends Global Customer Service Training to staff.
- Advise management on appropriate resolutions of employee relations issues and inform corporate about EEOC complaints and related concerns.
- Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Administer the Affirmative Action Plan and the performance review and salary administration program.
- Oversee benefits programs including life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leaves of absence, and employee assistance programs.
- Investigate accidents and prepare reports for the insurance carrier; prepare separation notices and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons for separations.
- Perform other duties assigned by leadership and operate in accordance with Legends Global policies and applicable laws.
- Supervise activities such as interviewing, hiring, training, planning, directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving complaints.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Exercises supervisory authority in line with Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Duties include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, directing, appraising performance, recognizing and disciplining staff, addressing complaints, and resolving issues.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university
- Minimum of 3+ years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience administering benefit programs
- Workday experience highly preferred
- Combination of education and experience may be accepted
Skills and Abilities
- Solid knowledge of HR administration principles and practices
- Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA and related state and federal regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Workday recruiting experience or equivalent, including generating job requisitions, background checks, offer letters, and onboarding, is highly preferred
- HR certifications are preferred
