Job Description
Kane Innovations Inc. is expanding its HR operations to support a growing manufacturing footprint across multiple locations. The company seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee daily HR administration on-site in Erie, PA, guiding recruiting, payroll, benefits, employee relations, and compliance to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily HR operations, including employee relations, policy administration, compliance, and the adoption of HR best practices.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding for both hourly and salaried staff.
- Administer payroll, benefits, leave programs, workers' compensation, unemployment, and HRIS systems.
- Collaborate with managers on employee relations, investigations, performance management, coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, communications, and organizational documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while maintaining accurate personnel records.
- Coordinate annual open enrollment, benefits education, and company events.
- Support safety initiatives, conduct accident investigations, uphold OSHA compliance, and manage return-to-work programs.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain employee records to support business operations and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain consistent HR processes and documentation to ensure uniformity and compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of progressive human resources experience.
- Experience with payroll, benefits administration, HRIS, and knowledge of employment law.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage employee relations, organizational dynamics, and effective communication.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Location and Compensation
Location: Erie, Pennsylvania (onsite)
Salary: USD 70,000 - 95,000 per year
Experience required: Five or more years in progressive HR roles
