Human Resources Manager
Job Description
The Human Resources Manager for URBN Fulfillment and Distribution Centers oversees daily HR operations and supports the company’s core people strategies across onsite teams. The role partners with site leadership to strengthen culture, talent programs, compliance practices, and employee engagement while helping align workforce planning with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the HR team, guiding onboarding and providing ongoing coaching to support continuous competence development.
- Partner with the Site Director to drive people training and development initiatives that sustain engagement across levels.
- Foster employee engagement and nurture company culture in collaboration with site leadership.
- Define and implement initiatives aligned with business objectives to enhance long-term performance and achieve goals.
- Lead talent management including onboarding, training and development, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with the Centralized Planning team to build peak headcount plans.
- Ensure employee compliance through regular payroll records audits and validation of employee and information accuracy.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition and site leadership to coordinate recruiting and onboarding for direct hires and agency sourced candidates, with a focus on a seamless candidate experience.
- Direct and coordinate facility activities to optimize operations while ensuring adherence to facility HR processes, procedures, and initiatives.
- Provide onsite assistance to address employee inquiries and support HR Generalists through onboarding.
- Communicate company policies and procedures to all employees, enforcing standards consistently.
- Conduct employee investigations as needed, ensuring fair policy application and coaching leadership and hourly employees on best practices.
- Act as a business partner to location leaders and ensure HR processes and initiatives are implemented and followed up at the facility.
- Support peak staffing needs by assisting with peak headcount plans and coordinating with agencies.
- Oversee recruiting efforts and involvement in the community in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Team.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate facility activity related to HR and people priorities.
- Support a 24/7 environment with multiple shifts and significant staffing ramps throughout the year.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Sr. Human Resources Manager, Supply Chain.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of increased responsibility in the Human Resources field.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 3 plus years leading and managing an HR team.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and reporting skills.
- Excellent leadership, team building, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience working at speed with pragmatism and professionalism, ideally in an entrepreneurial culture.
- Experience operating at scale and complexity.
- Strategic HR thinking with clear business acumen and ability to develop and articulate an HR/OD agenda that drives positive outcomes.
- Open, practical, and pragmatic approach for balancing high volume and conflicting priorities.
- Proven relationship-building skills across senior leaders and varying personalities, with effective collaboration across boundaries and networks.
- Ability to influence others by determining when and how to secure commitment, remaining flexible while maintaining sound judgment.
- Ability to mobilize others to deliver against goals and projects efficiently and effectively.
- Results-driven mindset with persistence and determination to act in ambiguity and opposition.

Location and Schedule
This position is located at 2401 Green Ln, Levittown, Pennsylvania, 19057 United States and is onsite.
- Must be able to be in the office 5 days a week.
- Must support a 24/7 environment with multiple shifts and staffing ramps throughout the year.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including on call, with coverage that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
