Responsibilities
- Advise supervisors and administrators on personnel action procedures.
- Provide human resources guidance on proposed position descriptions.
- Provide technical oversight of designated projects and personnel action procedures.
- Manage and use various automated information systems to collect data, compile information, prepare reports, and perform daily tasks.
- Develop reports to support management needs regarding the status of individual personnel actions, evaluate overall personnel management support, or address specific areas of concern.
Requirements
- Who May Apply: US Citizens
- Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that includes creating or tracking personnel actions and assisting in providing guidance on operating policies or procedures. This definition is typical of work at the GS-07 level.
- Education: Master’s degree or equivalent graduate degree or two full years of progressively higher level graduate education in Human Resources Management or Business Administration, or a related field.
- Combination of Education and Experience: A combination may qualify if the computed percentage meets or exceeds 100% using the standard calculation for education and experience.
- Foreign Education: If using foreign education, credentials must be evaluated by a private organization that interprets foreign education and determines equivalence to U.S. programs, or full credit must be given for courses at a U.S. accredited institution.
