Human Resources Supervisor - Benefits
Job Description
In Scottsdale's City HR landscape, benefits expertise shapes both recruitment and daily employee experience. The Human Resources Supervisor - Benefits will lead a team of Benefits Analysts, drive policy development and system enhancements, and coordinate with Procurement, IT, and external vendors to deliver a compliant and engaging benefits program for City employees. This onsite role demands strong leadership and a focus on delivering valuable benefits while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the City’s benefits operations
- Lead a team of Benefits Analysts
- Ensure efficient day-to-day benefits administration
- Drive strategic initiatives in policy development, compliance, and system enhancements
- Collaborate with Procurement, IT, and external vendors to deliver a seamless and engaging benefits experience for employees
- Maintain regulatory compliance
- Implement new programs
- Serve as a trusted resource for staff and employees alike
Requirements
- Five years' professional level human resources or organizational development experience
- At least one year of lead or management experience in people or projects
- Residency in the State of Arizona during active employment by the City

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Public Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution
- Five years' professional level human resources or organizational development experience and at least one year of lead or management experience in people or projects
- Any equivalent combination of education and/or job-related experience that meets the minimum qualifications
Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements
- Residency in the State of Arizona during active employment
- Other pertinent licenses and/or certifications may be required depending on department/section assignment
