People Operations Partner

Drivemode is the new software and user experience division of Honda, focused on delivering a digital experience for new vehicles. In this role, you’ll help shape the People infrastructure behind a growing organization by building programs, supporting employees day to day, and partnering across systems, onboarding, and travel policy.

As the People Operations Partner in Mountain View, CA (onsite), you’ll design and run People programs and processes while owning People Technology initiatives. You’ll also coordinate onboarding and off-boarding, manage benefits and wellness, and handle immigration processes end to end, with close collaboration across the People & Culture function and the parent organization.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement People programs and processes that reduce manual transactions by automating work and improving employee information through the knowledge base or enhanced self-service.
• Own People Technology initiatives to ensure HR systems and infrastructure remain aligned with company growth and operational goals.
• Organize and manage onboarding programs for new moders, supporting a strong orientation experience and integration into the company.
• Coordinate and manage off-boarding processes to support a smooth and respectful transition for departing employees.
• Own benefits & wellness programs, ensuring employees are educated on offerings and supported throughout their journey.
• Liaise with immigration partners and manage end-to-end immigration processes.
• Consult employees on day-to-day People matters and provide timely support on requested documentation.
• Manage and update HR and related systems (including HiBob, VerifyFirst, DocuSign, Easyllama, and Notion) to keep data accurate and relevant.
• Prepare, review, interpret, and analyze data, information, and reports, then provide clear recommendations based on findings.
• Partner with the parent company and oversee Travel Policy.

What you bring

• At least 4 years of experience working in both fast-paced technology companies and more established organizations, with an understanding of how to adapt technology to People Operations practices.
• Solid experience building employee-friendly People Operations processes, workflows, and scalable People Operations systems.
• Proven track record managing comprehensive benefits programs and handling immigration cases with care and precision.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to build and optimize People Operations infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, refine, and implement people-centric processes and initiatives that balance efficiency with a positive employee experience.
• Agile, proactive approach with a “can do” attitude, including the ability to pivot quickly in a dynamic environment.

Compensation and location

• Location: Mountain View, CA (onsite)
• Salary: USD 103,000 - 118,000 per year
