Job Description

Amazon's University Talent Acquisition (AUTA) unit focuses on attracting student talent at scale, with Robotics and AI initiatives driving the search for the next generation of innovators. In the Recruiter I role, you will operate on-site in Seattle, WA, partnering with business and recruiting teams to design effective early-career strategies, enhance the candidate experience, and steward campus and candidate information within AUTA. The position offers a salary range of USD 80,200 to 99,100 per year and emphasizes collaboration across Amazon’s global teams to deliver high-quality talent to customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and recruiting partners across Amazon to understand student hiring needs
  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to attract, source, assess, and hire students for niche roles, including Robotics and AI contexts
  • Identify opportunities to improve candidate experience and optimize scheduling efficiency
  • Maintain and analyze all candidate and campus information, consolidate results, and recommend improvements
  • Craft recruitment strategies that support Amazon's long-range growth, implement new processes, and create standard operating procedures aligned with delivering top-quality results
  • Partner with full lifecycle recruiters, industry hiring teams, and stakeholders to build an early-career talent strategy
  • Manage customer expectations and business goals through bi-weekly reviews, metrics, and status updates to customers and stakeholders
  • Develop a recruiting plan with deliverables, timelines, and scalable tracking processes
  • Participate in special projects or recruiting initiatives, including pilots and process-improvement efforts

Requirements

  • 4+ years of progressive technical recruiting experience, whether in corporate recruiting or at a search firm, including full lifecycle recruiting
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

About the Team

This recruiter will join the Specialty Robotics-AI recruiting team at Amazon, contributing to a group known for Hiring and Developing the Best. The Robotics-AI team recruits Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students working across Robotics, Silicon, Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Systems, Hardware, and related technologies. Prior recruiting experience in these fields is highly preferred and highly valued within this role.
