Job Description
Build healthcare talent pipelines by owning sourcing strategies and partnering across HR, hiring managers, and external resources.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed individual placement objectives through independent sourcing, minimizing reliance on outside agencies
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing and operational needs and develop recruitment strategies to secure qualified candidates
- Offer ideas and direction to support identification of ideal candidates
- Manage relationships with internal and external sourcing resources to fill positions in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Act as the liaison between candidates and management during the interview and selection process
- Advise hiring managers on the overall hiring process, including job requisition details and requisition creation
- Provide input on effective candidate assessment and interview techniques
- Maintain accurate, timely updates in the applicant tracking system and keep hiring managers informed to ensure hiring requirements are met
- Identify viable client prospects using directories, contact lists, databases, leads, internet resources, and personal networking
- Place employment advertisements across approved channels, including print media, approved Internet sites, agencies, and schools
- Attend recruitment events such as career fairs, networking events, and open houses
- Support the requisition process by reviewing job descriptions, funding sources, and position numbers for approved requisitions to ensure accuracy and timely posting
- Monitor, update, and review requisitions and applicant information in the applicant tracking database
- Review resumes and applications; enter offers in the system
- Coordinate compensation discussions, including sign-on bonus and relocation expenses, with hiring managers and the Compensation department to extend offers to candidates
- Support and follow up with the Senior Staffing Specialist to ensure timely, effective recruitment practices are executed
- Oversee the Employment Coordinator to support onboarding completion, including New Hire Physicals, Background Check, and education verification
- Mentor and assist the Employment Coordinator in professional development and goal achievement
- Respond to inquiries and concerns from departments, employees, and management
- Perform other related duties
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of recruiting/placement experience in the health care industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Compensation
- Salary range: $81,120 - $88,000 per year
- Actual salary depends on experience, education, and operational need
- Salary range does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits
