Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist (HR)

New Horizons In-Home Care, based in Eugene, Oregon, is seeking a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to join on-site. This full-time role offers a pay rate of USD 25 - 28 per hour, with occasional travel, and a clear path to grow within HR and recruiting. You will lead full-cycle recruiting for caregivers, direct-support professionals (DSPs), and other healthcare staff, contributing to a mission-driven organization serving communities across Oregon and Washington.

Compensation and location

• Salary: USD 25 - 28 per hour
• Location: Eugene, Oregon (onsite)
• Schedule: Full-time
• Travel: Occasional travel within Oregon and Washington

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and hiring
• Conduct phone screens and interviews for caregiver and healthcare positions
• Partner with site leaders and hiring managers to fulfill staffing needs
• Post and manage jobs on Indeed and other recruiting platforms
• Support new hire onboarding and coordinate orientation
• Help improve recruiting processes and hiring workflows

Requirements

• 2-4 years of professional experience in recruiting, HR, management, operations, customer service, or similar people-focused roles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable handling challenging conversations and problem solving
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to learn new HR and recruiting systems
• HR or recruiting experience is helpful but not required
• Candidates with strong people skills and critical thinking ability are encouraged to apply
