Job Description

This onsite role in New Albany, Ohio, focuses on delivering a complete HR function while maintaining a union-free environment. The Senior HR Generalist will oversee staffing, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and HR administration in partnership with operations to ensure onboarding, policy compliance and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the operations team to counsel on policies, procedures and state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Keep management informed about internal and external HR developments that may impact effectiveness.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience.
  • Support supervisors with performance management, including delivering disciplinary actions for hourly employees.
  • Maintain personnel files and training materials, ensuring documents are current, accurate, confidential and compliant with company policies and government regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
  • At least 2 years of HR experience, including compensation, HRIS administration, HR management, benefits administration, payroll and employee relations.
  • Experience working with HRIS and time/attendance systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
