Senior Human Resources Operations Specialist
Job Description
Rosendin is seeking a Senior Human Resources Operations Specialist to help scale HR programs, governance, and reporting capabilities that keep HR operations consistent and trusted. This onsite role in Huntersville, NC focuses on continuous improvement across employee experience initiatives, compliance and governance, contingent workforce and vendor oversight, and HR analytics that leadership can use.
What you’ll own
- Own and continuously improve key HR programs, including new hire experience, leave management, internal mobility, offboarding, and field employee support
- Partner with HR Operations Specialists and Admins to identify employee experience gaps and build solutions that operate consistently across the organization
- Support enhancements to L&D programming, including ROOT program facilitation and training program design
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, benefits programs, and HR service delivery in partnership with the HR Ops Manager and Leads
- Own and maintain compliance programs, including state-specific compliance calendars, ACA eligibility tracking, and HR data governance standards
- Lead process standardization efforts by establishing and maintaining documentation frameworks, performing regular process reviews, and flagging when practice drifts from documented procedure
- Drive continuous improvement through structured quarterly reviews, then surface findings and recommendations to the HR Ops Manager
- Maintain the HR intranet, ensuring self-service content, forms, and policies remain current and easy to access
- Own the contingent workforce program, including contract tracking, vendor relationships, program audits, and escalation management
- Manage HR vendor contracts by tracking renewal dates, monitoring performance, and escalating service issues to the Lead
- Build and maintain the HR Ops metrics dashboard and distribute operational reporting to the team and leadership
- Produce headcount reporting, support regulatory filings, and fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests
- Track and report key metrics, including ticket volumes, SLA adherence, audit findings, and program outcomes
Requirements
- 4-6 years of HR operations experience with demonstrated program ownership or project management responsibility
- Strong Workday HCM experience, including reporting, data governance, and configuration familiarity (preferred)
- Experience building or managing HR programs from design through steady-state operations
- Strong analytical and data skills, comfortable pulling, interpreting, and presenting HR data for multiple audiences
- Knowledge of state and federal compliance requirements, particularly CA employment law, FMLA, ADA, and ACA
- Strong process orientation, with the ability to build repeatable and scalable processes
- Excellent written communication skills, translating operational data into clear summaries for leadership
- High level of professional judgment and comfort operating in ambiguous situations
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; PHR/SPHR or equivalent experience a plus

Working conditions
- General work environment includes sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending; work is primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
- Noise level is usually low to medium and can be louder on the jobsite

- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
