Senior Recruiter

E. & J. Gallo Winery is hiring a Senior Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment while supporting sourcing strategies that improve how the business hires. This hybrid role is based in Modesto, CA and requires onsite presence 3 days per week (Mon, Wed, Thurs).

In this position, you will partner with hiring managers and candidates to refine hiring processes, promote a strong candidate experience, and ensure recruiting interactions reflect Gallo’s values and commitment to quality.

What you will do

• Own full recruitment cycles and support innovative sourcing strategies
• Lead hiring managers throughout the recruiting process
• Build trusted relationships with candidates and business leaders
• Deliver strategic recommendations to improve hiring processes
• Participate in a wide range of recruiting programs while maintaining a seamless candidate experience
• Represent GALLO’s values in all interactions, helping strengthen its reputation as an industry leader in total alcoholic beverage

Minimum qualifications

• Master’s degree plus 2 years of HR experience, including corporate or agency recruiting experience with increasing levels of responsibility
• OR Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of Gallo HR experience, including corporate or agency recruiting experience with increasing levels of responsibility
• OR Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of HR experience, including corporate or agency recruiting experience with increasing levels of responsibility
• OR a high school diploma or state-issued equivalent
• Ability to travel up to 10% for recruiting events and/or career fairs
• Relevant recruiting background including full lifecycle recruiting and sourcing across multiple locations, plus an intermediate understanding of OFCCP and EEOC compliance
• Intermediate ability to present recruiting concepts to leadership
• Advanced written and oral communication skills
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook; advanced proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software tools
• Internet savvy, including experience mining online databases for candidate information
• Proven ability to use data to communicate recruiting results, with strong attention to detail in data management
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience delivering positive experiences to candidates and hiring managers, leveraging customer service skills
• Travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5%, with or without reasonable accommodation (in addition to other travel requirements, if applicable)
• Must be 18 years or older

Compensation and work setup

• Location: Modesto, CA (hybrid)
• Onsite requirement: 3 days per week (Mon, Wed, Thurs)
• Hourly pay range: USD 40.96 - 61.44
