Job Description

Tuff Shed is seeking a Senior Recruiter to strengthen recruiting support across roles and seniority levels, from entry-level positions through leadership. This onsite position in Denver, CO partners closely with hiring managers to source, screen, and coordinate candidates, while also helping improve how teams run job requisitions, interviews, and offers using an ATS.

In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for factory hiring managers, contribute to building strong candidate pipelines, and support a consistently positive candidate experience through timely communication and structured recruiting processes.

What you’ll do

  • Provide recruiting support across all levels, including entry-level, field, corporate, and senior leadership roles.
  • Guide and train field and corporate hiring managers on recruiting workflows such as job postings, candidate selection, interviewing, and extending job offers.
  • Create, review, and approve job requisitions and job postings, and manage offer letters using an ATS.
  • Ensure recruiting policies and procedures are followed and complete regular audits of job requisitions.
  • Attract, evaluate, and refer candidates for open positions using the recruiting ATS and additional sourcing methods.
  • Screen resumes and applications for key roles and conduct screening interviews for hiring managers.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, department heads, and stakeholders to understand hiring needs and preferences.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for factory hiring managers to help determine staffing needs and tailor recruiting approaches.
  • Source candidates actively and regularly for assigned requisitions, including roles at all levels.
  • Recruit qualified candidates through networking channels and social media such as LinkedIn.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines using ATS and social media methods.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews, schedule follow-up interviews with hiring managers, and keep communication consistent to support a positive candidate experience.
  • Support hiring manager readiness through guidance on ATS usage, job descriptions, bonus/commission plans, interview techniques, candidate evaluation, and candidate experience.
  • Enhance the organization’s brand by promoting Tuff Shed values, culture, and career opportunities to candidates.
  • Perform other administrative duties and responsibilities as assigned by Tuff Shed management.

What you bring

  • Minimum 4 years of field and corporate recruiting experience at a nationwide level, including exempt, non-exempt, and sales roles (entry-level through leadership).
  • 3 years of sourcing and candidate management experience using ATS, plus building candidate pipelines using social media such as LinkedIn.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
  • Proven ability to partner with and build relationships at all levels within the organization.
  • Hands-on computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, and experience with HRIS and ATS internet applications.
  • Ability to use innovative sourcing methods to attract and engage talent.
  • Ability to collaborate with HR on pre-boarding, employee status changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Ability to work independently while partnering with hiring managers, HR, and colleagues.
  • Ability to track success using metrics such as hiring volume, time-to-fill, and candidate pipeline/experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills using sound logic and business judgment.
  • Ability to use arithmetic, mathematical, accounting, and financial tools.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand instructions provided orally, in writing, and/or diagram form.
  • Ability to prepare professional written correspondence and reports.
  • Effective communication at all levels, including customers, business partners, suppliers, co-workers, managers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work scheduled in-office hours to enable direct supervision, observation of work performance, real-time coaching and feedback, clarification of assignments and priorities, timely intervention, and face-to-face onsite support.
  • Ability to work scheduled in-office hours to adapt to changing priorities, receive job-related feedback, observe and participate in company culture, and build relationships with onsite peers and leaders.

Location and work environment

  • Denver, CO (onsite)
  • Minimal travel to local career fairs or factory sites
  • Indoor office environment in a cubical setting

Compensation

  • $36 to $38 per hour (USD)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
