Sourcing Recruiter

The Sourcing Recruiter role concentrates on AWS Databases, building proactive sourcing strategies and candidate pipelines for senior and principal database engineering positions, and collaborating with engineering teams and hiring managers to sustain pipeline health.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end sourcing strategies from the ground up for senior and principal database engineering roles, covering database engines, distributed systems, query optimization, replication, and open-source ecosystems.
• Discover talent through rigorous research, inventive sourcing campaigns, target company mapping, and referral engineering to reach candidates others may overlook.
• Lead targeted sourcing sessions with engineering teams to extract signal, cultivate referrals, and validate candidate profiles with conviction backed by data.
• Own pipeline health by maintaining accurate candidate records, tracking sourcing metrics, and delivering clear market insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and translate them into actionable search strategies.
• Raise team capabilities by contributing to sourcing best practices, training, and process improvements that enhance overall effectiveness.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical recruiting experience in high-volume environments with stringent hiring standards.
• Experience developing candidate sourcing and closing strategies.
• Experience recruiting for mid-senior level talent.
