Sr. Human Resources Business Partner
Job Description
Senior HR Business Partner supporting HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration at Chick-fil-A Supply DC in Olathe, KS (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Assist the off-site Regional Talent Leader with staffing the Distribution Center by executing recruitment initiatives, tracking forecasted hiring needs, organizing interview logistics (timing, location, interviewers, communications), and ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
- Manage HR records for all facility staff within the HRIS, compile and analyze data for key performance indicators, and provide actionable insights to the Talent Leader.
- Drive employee engagement across all DC departments; respond to employee inquiries and deliver timely employee relations support that reflects the company culture; design and implement initiatives promoting care, safety, and excellence.
- Advise and support team leaders on employment law, government regulations, performance management, morale, and policies such as FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation.
- Oversee payroll administration for the DC and resolve issues for staff and leaders as needed.
- Monitor market-driven compensation trends to inform pay practices.
- Collaborate with Legal and the Regional Talent Leader to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state requirements.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and seminars, including delivering training when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support HR operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of HR-related experience, including at least 3 years in a distribution or manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and practices
- Ability to build relationships and influence across multiple operations
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Occasional travel, including overnight trips
- Experience with investigations, including accidents and harassment Allegations
- Experience recruiting and developing a diverse, strong team
- Some understanding of labor legislation
- Ability to lead through change management
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking) to follow verbal instructions, complete documentation, and read/interprete company communications
