Sr. Science Recruiter

Senior Science Recruiter on the Amazon University Talent Acquisition AUTA Science team, focusing on attracting and placing student scientists at scale while collaborating with business and recruiting partners to manage candidate processes and drive metrics-driven improvements in a fast moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units and recruiting teams across Amazon to understand student hiring needs
• Develop innovative approaches to attract, source, assess, and hire students for specialized roles across Amazon
• Identify opportunities to enhance candidate experience and optimize scheduling efficiency
• Track, organize, and analyze all candidate and campus data, synthesize results, and propose improvements
• Craft recruitment strategies aligned with long term growth, implement new processes, and establish SOPs that align with Amazon's mission to deliver top customer results
• Partner with full lifecycle recruiters, industry hiring teams, and stakeholders to shape an early career talent strategy
• Manage client expectations and business goals with bi weekly metrics reviews and status updates to customers and stakeholders
• Design a recruiting plan with deliverables, timelines, and scalable tracking processes
• Contribute to special projects or recruiting initiatives, including pilots and process improvement efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 7+ years of recruiting experience with a focus on engineering, technical operations, and product management
• Experience identifying candidates connected to top scientific publications from conferences
• Deep domain expertise across multiple scientific disciplines, including but not limited to LLMs, computer vision, natural language processing, augmented reality, and quantum technologies
