Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Partner role at Clearway Energy focuses on sourcing, recruiting, and building robust talent pipelines for technical and field positions, supporting hiring across multiple locations including San Diego, Scottsdale, and Denver.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic advisor to the business and as a subject matter expert on recruitment strategies.
- Direct sourcing and pipeline management for the client base to meet current and future hiring needs.
- Own the hiring lifecycle, ensuring timely progress, clear stakeholder communication, and process accountability.
- Develop recruitment strategies using diverse sourcing techniques with a focus on maintaining a diverse candidate pool.
- Conduct candidate interviews and extend offers.
- Champion the employer brand and position Clearway as an employer of choice through social media and recruitment branding.
- Apply behavioral interviewing, screen candidates, and provide recommendations on applicant consideration and selection.
- Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and coach them on effective hiring practices.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience and cultivate strong candidate relationships.
- Attend networking events, professional conferences, and niche recruiting events to source talent.
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to improve talent branding, recruitment processes, and candidate experience by identifying efficiencies and reducing bottlenecks.
- Gain deep knowledge of business lines and their competitive landscape.
- Adhere to Talent Acquisition Service Level Agreements (SLA) and industry benchmarks.
- Maintain awareness of current market trends to support competitive hiring.
- Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, pipeline tracking, and data integrity within talent acquisition systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or related experience.
- At least 3 years of recruiting experience in a consultative role, whether in-house or agency, within a related industry.
- Strong sourcing capabilities, including advanced Boolean searches and proactive talent mapping.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Positive, highly motivated attitude and ability to sustain a teamwork-oriented, respectful, and integrity-driven culture.
- Professional and approachable demeanor with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish trust, set expectations, align stakeholders, and maintain accountability in hiring.
- Passion for innovative recruitment solutions, strong customer service orientation, and process improvement capability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, demonstrate a bias for action, and deliver results.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and exercise sound judgment and integrity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate to advanced level.

What the Role Is
The Talent Acquisition Partner handles all aspects of talent sourcing and recruiting for assigned requisitions, building and maintaining relationships with hiring managers, human resources, community organizations, and other sourcing channels. The role emphasizes developing new, creative recruiting ideas using traditional and non-traditional methods and employing approved venues to identify suitable candidates.
This position plays a key part in ensuring ClearwayEnergy hires top talent for all positions, with a focus on technical and field roles. The successful candidate will have at least three years of recruiting experience, preferably in renewables or technical fields, and will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager. The role is based in San Diego, Scottsdale, or Denver, and the posting supports multiple locations while representing one open position.

What Would Be Nice
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business, Marketing, or a related field is highly preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in renewables

- Experience working with senior leaders on strategic talent acquisition and retention approaches
