Job Description
Hearst Media Services is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to own full-cycle recruiting for high-impact roles and advise leaders across the organization. The position supports senior-level hiring through proactive sourcing, pipeline development, and data-informed improvements to recruiting outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment across editorial, creative, product, sales, marketing, and corporate functions, with an emphasis on senior-level and business-critical hiring.
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to align on organizational priorities and create effective hiring strategies.
- Act as a trusted talent advisor by delivering market intelligence, competitive insights, and strategic guidance during the hiring process.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and attract high-caliber passive talent.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support both current openings and future hiring needs.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects Hearst’s culture, values, and commitment to excellence.
- Use recruiting metrics, market data, and talent insights to assess hiring effectiveness and continuously improve outcomes.
- Support talent acquisition initiatives that strengthen recruiting processes, operational efficiency, and overall team performance.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated success recruiting senior-level and business-critical talent across multiple business functions.
- Experience supporting hiring across a combination of editorial, creative, product, sales, marketing, and corporate roles.
- Strong consultative, relationship-building, and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and business leaders.
- Proven ability to design creative sourcing strategies and successfully engage passive talent for complex or hard-to-fill positions.
- Experience using recruiting data, market intelligence, and talent insights to guide hiring decisions.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn Recruiter, along with other sourcing tools.
- Hybrid work schedule requiring four days per week in the New York City office.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in media, publishing, digital content, entertainment, or a related industry.
- Experience supporting recruiting processes in government contracting, regulated industries, or compliance-focused environments.

Compensation and Location
- Location: New York, NY (hybrid)
- Salary range: USD 80,000 - 115,000 per year
