Talent Acquisition Recruiter

BlueLinx is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruitment for designated branches at our Marietta, Georgia site. This onsite role focuses on sourcing passive candidates, leveraging job boards, building robust talent funnels, and delivering an excellent candidate experience. You will partner with hiring managers to identify top talent for a range of roles, including hourly positions with long-term opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage full life cycle recruiting for assigned branches, with emphasis on hourly roles offering long-term opportunities.
• Maintain proactive communication and collaboration with BlueLinx hiring managers to present appropriate candidate slates.
• Cultivate relationships with Branch Leadership and prospective hires; mentor new and existing managers on BlueLinx hiring processes.
• Operate effectively in a virtual environment, focused on delivering results and elevating team performance.
• Support the development and refinement of interview scorecards and guides, conduct virtual interviews, and help establish best practices.
• Willingness to expand HR knowledge in onboarding, training, background checks, and HR metrics reporting.
• Monitor and report recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill and candidate pipeline.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of high-volume full-cycle recruiting experience in either an agency or corporate setting.
• Experience recruiting DOT drivers is a strong plus.
• Tenstreet experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with Ceridian Dayforce and Tenstreet or similar applicant tracking systems and candidate dispositioning.
• Proficiency in identifying both passive and active candidates.
• Excellent time management with the ability to self-prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including phone conversations.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented setting.
• Appreciates social media as a recruiting tool and enjoys sourcing the right talent.
• Demonstrates urgency and resiliency.
