Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the Northern NJ area of the NY Metro market and operates onsite in Sparta, NJ. Working with hiring managers to build high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment, this role drives recruiting efforts, builds pipelines, and contributes to business success. Compensation ranges from USD 20 to 25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers and local leadership to assess staffing needs and craft tailored recruitment strategies
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for a broad mix of field and office roles, ensuring alignment with role requirements and company culture
• Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle from job description creation to extending offers
• Cultivate robust talent pipelines through hiring events and proactive networking
• Maintain an exceptional candidate experience with timely communication and transparency
• Partner with HR and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and a seamless handoff to local teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience recruiting in a fast-paced environment; experience in skilled trades or service sectors is a plus
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic setting
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools, with iCIMS experience preferred
