Job Description
CrossCountry Freight Solutions, Inc. DBA CCFS is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support full-cycle recruiting for the organization. This exempt onsite role is based in Kansas City, KS 66106, with a salary range of $58,000 to $70,000 per year depending on location and experience. You will collaborate with managers to attract experienced professionals and help ensure a positive candidate journey from application through end of training.

Responsibilities
You will manage recruiting needs end to end, partnering with internal stakeholders while maintaining organized, up-to-date processes.
- Maintain the recruiting applicant tracking system (Workday) to ensure candidate and position information stays current for all open roles
- Source passive candidates and candidates for difficult-to-fill positions using platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Indeed, and others
- Create, post, and manage advertising needs across a variety of social media platforms
- Coordinate and conduct phone interviews for candidates
- Manage the pre-screen and background check process, and serve as backup support during onboarding for new hires
- Manage candidate experience from application through the end of training
- Maintain professional communication and confidentiality with candidates and employees handling sensitive information
- Represent and promote the organization by providing information, responding to questions, and collecting applicant data
- Assist with identifying issues impacting recruitment and implement recruitment activities to continuously improve processes
- Attend and participate in job fairs, community activities, and other recruitment events, including travel as needed
- Process paperwork and forms accurately and on time; keep personnel and department information organized, up to date, and strictly confidential
- Own the full life cycle recruiting workflow, including sourcing, advertising, screening, interviewing, selection, and background reporting
- Complete other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in Recruiting
- Onboarding experience preferred
- Significant knowledge of HR functions
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry-specific requirements ( DOT/FMCSA regulations preferred )
- Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal, organization, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, etc.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

Location and work conditions
This position must be located in or near Kansas City, KS, Houston, TX, Dallas, TX, Phoenix, AZ, or Salt Lake City, UT. Work is performed in a standard office environment. The role includes the ability to work irregular hours as needed to meet business demands and the ability to travel when necessary.
