Associate Talent Acquisition Partner
Job Description
Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking an Associate Talent Acquisition Partner to support full-cycle recruiting and Talent Acquisition administrative operations. In this hybrid role based in Timonium, MD, you will own key steps from requisition through onboarding, with a focus on accountability, timely execution, and service excellence aligned to established expectations.
You will work closely with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to ensure hiring needs are clearly defined, candidates are sourced and advanced efficiently, and internal processes stay accurate and compliant across the recruiting lifecycle.
What you will do
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned programs, delivering timely and high-quality hiring outcomes in line with service-level expectations.
- Source, screen, and engage qualified candidates using social media, job boards, networking, and community partnerships, with accountability for outreach and pipeline activity.
- Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to define hiring needs, develop interview plans, and maintain clear communication during selection.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with candidates and hiring teams to keep processes moving and prevent decision delays.
- Prepare, extend, and document job offers as directed by Talent Acquisition Partners, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery within 24 hours of approval.
- Represent Catholic Charities professionally at job fairs and community events, track outcomes, and provide post-event feedback to inform strategy.
- Contribute to employer branding and engagement initiatives that reflect accountability to the organization’s mission and values.
- Send personalized welcome cards to new hires as part of onboarding to reinforce a culture of care and attention to detail.
- Manage intake and tracking of requisition requests, ensuring submissions are complete and posted within 2–3 business days, escalating delays proactively.
- Ensure job posting accuracy and consistency, aligned with classification, compensation, and branding standards.
- Verify and maintain data integrity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and related HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and process compliance.
- Execute candidate hires in UKG using established protocols to support timely handoff to onboarding.
- Monitor the Talent Acquisition email inbox daily, prioritizing responses and delegation to sustain workflow efficiency and internal service standards.
- Coordinate recruitment participation with colleges, universities, and community organizations, maintaining documentation of outreach efforts and results.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and accountability within Talent Acquisition.
- Support the Director, Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Partners with ad-hoc reporting, analytics, and administrative projects to track progress and meet goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications
- Associate’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in human resources, recruiting, or talent acquisition.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platforms (e.g., UKG, Taleo, ICIMS, etc.).
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening, to ensure clarity and effectiveness in all interactions.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Demonstrated accountability working independently with minimal direction or supervision.
- Discretion and professionalism in all situations while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software, including basic Windows PC, web browsing (e.g., Chrome, Internet Explorer), and Microsoft Outlook. Knowledge of additional Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive) is preferred.

Schedule and work environment
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with hybrid schedule (3 days in office and 2 days remote).
- Hybrid work options are available, contingent upon business needs and performance expectations in alignment with the Agency’s policy.
Physical requirements and environment
- Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers, including typing, data entry, or handling small objects.
- Ability to remain stationary, standing or sitting for extended periods as required.
- Ability to move about and transition between work sites, including walking, standing, or traveling as required.
