Job Description
USD 24 per hour base pay, real career growth, paid, hands-on training, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, and 401(k) for eligible employees. This onsite role at a key client site in Wheeling, IL supports overnight staffing operations and serves as the bilingual on-site contact for clients and associates.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview light industrial talent (warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, production) to keep the client fully staffed across every shift
- Act as the on-site primary point of contact for clients and associates, addressing questions, resolving issues, and building trust
- Review resumes, assess qualifications, and align top candidates with open roles based on client needs
- Manage onboarding end to end, including background checks, new-hire paperwork, and first-day logistics for a smooth start
- Accurately process and approve timecards to support timely, error-free payroll
- Conduct regular check-ins with associates and the client to drive satisfaction, retention, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with recruiters and leadership on staffing strategy and workforce planning
Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required
- Recruiting experience is required, with staffing agency experience strongly preferred
- 1–2 years in staffing, recruiting, HR, or administrative support
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with candidates and clients
- Excellent organizational ability and capacity to juggle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Comfort conducting in-person and phone interviews with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; experience with an ATS is a plus
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong solo and team work capabilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred
