Job Description

Ascend Staffing is seeking a Bilingual Recruiter for an onsite role in the McKinney, Texas area. This position supports full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing field employee coordination, while also providing daily customer service and partnering with the Branch Manager to meet weekly objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen applicants, conduct interviews, manage hiring steps, conduct orientations, monitor work performance, and support placement of field employees using the company ATS (training provided)
  • Utilize social media platforms, job boards, and recruiting tools to source candidates and schedule appointments or interviews
  • Coordinate with the Branch Manager to set and complete weekly goals
  • Complete new hire paperwork for field employees
  • Build and maintain relationships with branch clients
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Provide customer service with daily in-person and phone communication with general managers who accept employees sent to work
  • Answer phones while completing computer-based tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Strong personal-computer knowledge and the ability to use essential programs effectively, including MS Word, MS Excel, and email
  • Experience with social media recruiting
  • Excellent communication skills both by phone and in person
  • Strong record-keeping skills
  • Self-motivated work style
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships
  • Professional phone and instant messaging etiquette
  • Ability to prioritize urgent tasks as needed
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a drug and background check
  • Regular and reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of the position

Pay and Compensation
