Director of Human Resources

GF Hotels and Resorts is hiring a Director of Human Resources for the Renaissance Baltimore Harbor Place Hotel in Baltimore, MD 21202. The role leads core HR functions with a focus on employee relations, recruiting and onboarding, training, and compliance.

Role Overview

The Director of Human Resources will manage the hotel’s human resources activities across recruiting, onboarding, training, HR program administration, strategic planning, and employment law compliance. This position also supports continuous improvement through employee feedback and the development of personnel policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete HR paperwork and maintain internal documents, reports, and records with a high standard of accuracy.
• Identify and narrow the talent pool to highly qualified candidates, conduct or support interviews for the shortlist, and oversee onboarding and training of new hires.
• Conduct exit interviews with departing employees and document feedback to help refine policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures, and provide guidance on improvements based on operational needs and HR outcomes.
• Oversee HR programs, including employee training, benefits, compensation, and company evaluation.

Minimum Qualifications

• More than 3 years of experience in upper-level HR management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, HR management, or a similar major.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional certification from SHRM or a similar organization.
• Experience in the hotel industry.
• Marriott experience is ideal, but not required.

Compensation

$100,000 to $120,000 per year
