Job Description
Breckenridge Trucking Inc. is seeking a Driver Recruiter to join its HR team in Wenona, Illinois. This role focuses on building a steady pipeline of qualified truck drivers, screening applicants, and guiding new hires through onboarding in a fast-paced transportation environment. The successful candidate will bring trucking recruitment experience and a solid understanding of industry regulations to support driver staffing needs.

Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential driver candidates by cold calling, emailing, and utilizing online resources.
- Reach out to prospects by phone, email, or in person to present available driving opportunities.
- Review applications, conduct phone interviews, and evaluate candidates for role fit and regulatory compliance.
- Assist candidates with the application process and coordinate background checks, orientations, and travel arrangements as needed.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience while managing the end-to-end hiring and onboarding workflow.
- Follow up with new hires at 15, 30, and 90 days to confirm driver satisfaction and address any needs.
Requirements
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Prior recruiting experience is required.
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations is a plus.
- Experience with Tenstreet is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and maintains a positive attitude.
