Driver Recruiter

Join Kenan Advantage Group as an on-site Driver Recruiter in North Canton, OH, supporting driver recruiting across a designated region. This role focuses on full-cycle hiring, building relationships with drivers and Owner-Operators, and partnering closely with terminal managers to keep the process streamlined. You’ll also contribute recruitment outreach, events, and performance updates that help the business meet current and future hiring needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle (lead to hire) driver recruitment for an assigned region.
• Build and execute targeted recruitment activities for the region, including call, email, and text blitzes (and other outreach as assigned).
• Regularly monitor and review safety-sensitive candidate applications within the applicant tracking system.
• Screen prospective drivers for job qualifications and coordinate with hiring managers to schedule interviews.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and the compliance team to help ensure effective, seamless onboarding for successful candidates.
• Provide excellent customer service through professional communication with prospective and existing candidates, and work with team members and field management using recruitment tools and data.
• Participate in weekly and monthly performance and prioritization calls with assigned business leaders.
• Plan and lead driver recruiting hiring events throughout the assigned region and business unit.
• Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay aligned on current and future hiring needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Degree preferred.
• 1+ years of recruiting experience preferred; transportation recruiting experience is a plus.
• Consideration for highly motivated, results-oriented candidates with a proven track record in fast-paced, customer-focused or performance-driven roles.
• Strong phone presence and communication skills, with substantial requirement for outbound calling and candidate engagement.
• Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to multitask and manage time and resources effectively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel may be required, on occasion, for special events.
