Job Description
Based onsite in Omaha, NE, getMed Staffing is seeking a Healthcare Staffing Recruiter to lead the sourcing, onboarding, and ongoing management of contract healthcare professionals for nationwide assignments. This high-volume, fast-paced role centers on building strong relationships, sustaining a robust candidate pipeline, and guiding credentialing through to placement, all in collaboration with client managers and compliance specialists.
Responsibilities
- Engage and build relationships with potential candidates through lead databases, social media, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Recruit and qualify applicants by conducting pre-screening interviews, assessing qualifications, and submitting top talent to the Client Manager for placement.
- Develop recruiting strategies in partnership with Client Managers to meet staffing needs.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels including job boards, networking, referrals, and social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) to sustain a steady pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals.
- Facilitate onboarding by overseeing hiring and credentialing in coordination with compliance specialists, ensuring licensure, background checks, and drug screening requirements are met.
- Support contractors on assignment by managing ongoing relationships, payroll processing, contract extensions, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive candidate experience.
- Operate effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment by staying organized, proactive, and focused while managing candidates at various stages of the recruitment cycle.

Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, sales, or account management; healthcare staffing experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with high-volume outbound calls, CRM/ATS systems (Nexus, Bullhorn, etc.), and social media recruiting tools is advantageous.
