HR Partner
Job Description
HR Partner role on Amazon’s PXT team in Omaha, NE, focused on HR operations, frontline employee support, and improving employee experience onsite.
Responsibilities
- Support a positive employee experience by executing key programs, reinforcing workplace standards, and partnering with PXT and Operations to build a culture where employees feel valued, heard, and supported.
- Execute standard work with consistent quality and timeliness, meeting established SLAs and maintaining accurate documentation of HR processes and employee interactions.
- Provide frontline support by responding to employee inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring appropriate resolution or escalation while handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Run and monitor feedback channels (roundtables, floor walks, employee engagement activities), support issue tracking and follow-up, and partner with senior PXT team members to drive resolutions and improvements.
- Coach frontline leaders on engagement and retention behaviors, reinforce expectations, and guide leaders in using available tools to improve communication, recognition, and performance conversations.
- Support site-level engagement, communication, and culture initiatives by coordinating logistics, gathering feedback, and monitoring effectiveness.
- Learn to track and summarize PXT-related data (attrition/attendance trends, hiring data, employee sentiment) and help prepare insights for site reviews and team discussions.
- Promote adoption of self-service tools to resolve routine employee and manager questions, identify recurring gaps, and escalate opportunities to improve tool usability and adoption.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience with 1-year human resources general experience, or equivalent experience (operations, customer service, retail, manufacturing).
- Experience handling confidential information.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, basic Excel spreadsheet functions, and Outlook calendar/email management).
- Experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences by explaining processes, addressing concerns, and providing technical guidance.

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in HR, Management, Business, Labor Relations, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience in customer service or people-facing roles with strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas)
- Proficiency using AI-powered tools, HR analytics platforms, and emerging technologies to derive insights and improve processes
- Ability to train, guide, and support others in HR technologies and digital platforms, with a focus on adoption and end-user experience
- Strong organizational skills managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and delivering results in fast-paced environments
- Experience building partnerships and collaborating across teams with adaptability and autonomy
- Sound judgement and comfort navigating ambiguous situations with limited direction
- Basic understanding of HR processes and policies
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
