Job Description

The Human Resource Business Partner at Teleperformance USA serves as the primary HR contact for the Operations team, delivering day-to-day guidance, steering performance management, interpreting policies, and driving HR initiatives to boost relationships, morale, productivity, and retention. This role is 100 percent onsite in Brownsville, TX, with regular travel to the McAllen site (approximately 2 to 3 times per month).

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and present HR best practices to continually strengthen HR credibility and performance.
  • Serve as a point of contact and resource for management on HR policies, programs, and processes, answering questions and resolving problems.
  • Partner with the HR Knowledge Center, the Director of HR, and other HR functions to drive HR initiatives and programs across Teleperformance based on needs and industry practices.
  • Act as a first-line resource to departments and managers on employee and performance management matters, providing guidance to influence optimal outcomes.
  • Provide professional HR guidance to internal client groups across geographies to add value to the business.
  • Assist with the implementation and day-to-day management of corporate HR policies and programs at the segment or division level.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leadership to provide consultation on all HR matters.
  • Offer guidance on sensitive employee issues including performance management, terminations, and exit interviews to ensure consistent actions across the business unit.
  • Support company-wide programs and initiatives such as employee engagement, salary reviews, bonus awards, workforce planning, and organizational changes.
  • Facilitate organization and leadership development efforts, collaborating with employees and managers to address root causes of HR issues.
  • Partner with corporate HR functions such as Compensation, Knowledge Center, HRIS, and Talent Acquisition to provide feedback on business needs and identify process improvements.
  • Ensure data integrity in HRIS records and reports; develop reporting tools to capture and share meaningful HR metrics.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or an equivalent combination of experience and education with experience in Human Resources Management.
  • 5+ years of proven success managing a professional HR team of 10 or more experienced associates.
  • Experience in an HR role where the professional acted as a true partner to the business by using HR data to address real world people problems.
  • Solid knowledge of Federal and State HR laws including Wage and Hour, FMLA, and ADA.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and working with HRIS systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff and management and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple demands and work independently or with others, maintaining a positive partnership with Operations.
  • Strong time management skills and reliability.
  • Flexible availability to adjust schedule based on business needs.
  • Experience working with multiple locations or a large workforce is preferred.
  • Prompt and dependable with an excellent attendance record.
  • Must pass mandatory background checks, which may include pre-screenings, drug tests, and credit checks.
