Job Description
The HR Generalist role supports HR operations for FTG Circuits at the Hopkins, Minnesota onsite location, with responsibilities spanning payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, HRIS reporting, and compliance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for non-exempt employees
- Compile monthly benefit billing information for the finance department
- Report and track hourly employee attendance
- Administer employee benefits
- Submit workers' compensation claims and accident reports through the insurance provider portal
- Maintain and post the plant accident report (OSHA 300)
- Conduct all new hire orientations
- Maintain employee files and records
- Prepare annual reports such as Affirmative Action, EEO-1, and Vets 4212
- Investigate employee relations issues as needed
- Assist with company events including the picnic, Open Enrollment, and holiday buffet
- Manage the full recruiting process: craft job advertisements, conduct phone interviews, schedule in-person interviews, present offers, and coordinate pre-employment screenings
- Create and maintain various HRIS reports
- Enter training data into the training database
- Handle COBRA, FMLA, and STD paperwork
- Provide switchboard and receptionist support when required
Requirements
- Experience in Human Resources or a related administrative field is required
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is preferred
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to train and learn new tasks
- Advanced skills with Microsoft programs, especially Excel
- Experience working with ADP WorkforceNow
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- ITAR compliance requirement: US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status; documentation must be provided at the time of offer

Compensation
Salary: USD 60,000 – 80,000 per year
