Job Description

The Human Resource Generalist supports full cycle HR activities in a manufacturing and engineering environment on site in Coral Gables, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for engineering, manufacturing, production, administrative, and professional roles.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social platforms, referrals, networking, and recruiting tools.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, coordinate hiring manager sessions, and drive the offer process.
  • Develop strategies to attract qualified talent in competitive labor markets.
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system and track recruiting metrics.
  • Coordinate job fairs, hiring events, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Administer onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS databases accurately.
  • Assist with payroll, benefits enrollment, and changes to employee status.
  • Ensure proper personnel documentation and retention of records.
  • Act as a trusted resource for employees and management.
  • Support performance management, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Contribute to employee engagement and retention programs.
  • Help resolve workplace concerns and promote a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain employee handbook policies and HR procedures.
  • Coordinate workplace training, safety programs, and compliance requirements.
  • Support OSHA, safety, and workforce compliance initiatives.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
  • Manage PTO tracking, leave administration, and employee communications.
  • Support annual open enrollment activities.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience within manufacturing, engineering, construction, logistics, or industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, recruiting practices, and HR compliance.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS platforms, Microsoft Office, and recruiting tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
