Human Resource Generalist/Recruiter

ABF Security is looking for an experienced HR professional to support day-to-day people operations in a fast-paced security operations environment. This onsite role in Fenton, MO combines hands-on HR generalist work with recruiting responsibilities, helping keep teams staffed, supported, and aligned with employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for technicians, sales, and office staff
• Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding documentation
• Support employee relations activities, including coaching and performance improvement plans
• Help ensure compliance with applicable employment and workplace requirements, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and OSHA
• Administer benefits (health coverage, 401(k), and PTO) and provide support for payroll
• Track HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and labor costs
• Support training, employee engagement, and retention initiatives

Requirements

• 2+ years of HR experience required
• Service, construction, or security industry experience preferred
• Ability to support both field and office employees
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
