Human Resources Administrator
Job Description
At Goodman Group McDonald's, the HR team based in Melville, NY supports a busy network of restaurants from the corporate office. The Human Resources Administrator will handle payroll processing and a broad range of HR administrative tasks onsite, including onboarding, employee inquiries, leaves, workers' compensation, and compliance in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle weekly payroll processing for a network of restaurants
- Review and complete electronic onboarding for new hires
- Provide guidance to store managers and staff on payroll and HR inquiries
- Manage employee injury cases and workers' compensation claims
- Administer leaves of absence, verify eligibility, and process Disability, FMLA, and PFL paperwork
- Respond to employment verification requests and generate employment letters
- Coordinate garnishments with the payroll provider
- Stay current with new laws and regulations
- Leverage technology to automate tasks and streamline HR workflows
Requirements
- Bilingual: English and Spanish (mandatory)
- 1+ years of HR experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
