Job Description
The City of San Clemente is seeking a Human Resources Analyst II to oversee a broad range of professional HR functions within a busy municipal setting. This onsite position in San Clemente, CA supports activities from recruitment and classification to records management, benefits, and HRIS administration, with opportunities to contribute to special projects and strategic HR initiatives.
Salary
Salary: USD 49 - 60 per hourly

This position performs a wide range of professional HR functions and analytical duties across recruitment, classification and compensation, records management, leave administration, benefits, workers' compensation, and related programs; conducts surveys, researches and evaluates HR practices and procedures; provides information and assistance to the public and other departments for assigned programs and services.

Selection Process
- Applications and Supplemental Questions will be reviewed and evaluated for relevant education and experience.
- Candidates considered to have the best qualifications will be invited to participate in the selection process.
- The selection process will consist of an oral interview and a technical writing assignment to be evaluated as part of the Oral Interview process. The oral interview is weighted at 100%.
