This onsite HR Coordinator role is based in Denver, CO and focuses on supporting the full employee lifecycle. You will help onboard new hires, manage offboarding, process changes and background checks, and provide policy guidance to colleagues. The position emphasizes data accuracy, compliance, and ongoing learning about HR trends and employment law, with hands-on exposure to HR technology and processes.
Position overview
The HR Coordinator supports the HR team with administrative tasks across the full life cycle of an employee. Responsibilities include onboarding, offboarding, processing employee changes, and background checks. The role also assists with policy interpretation, employee relations, and ad hoc requests.
Responsibilities
- Process new hires in UKG, including I-9 verification, E-Verify, and background check requests.
- Process employee changes in UKG, including job transfers, terminations, pay rate changes, and supervisor changes.
- Maintain knowledge of HR trends, best practices, regulatory updates, and new HR technologies and employment law.
- Deliver HR policy guidance and interpretation to staff and managers.
- Ensure all HR documentation is compliant with applicable laws and internal standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR support role.
