Job Description

Full-time Human Resources Coordinator role in Norwood, MA, with a hybrid work arrangement and a pay rate of $30-$35 per hour, focused on supporting hiring, onboarding, and HR administration.

Responsibilities

  • Assess applications and conduct video interviews to evaluate candidate experience, skills, and fit with role requirements
  • Maintain candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System to ensure accurate, up-to-date data
  • Publish and promote job openings across internal channels and external platforms
  • Coordinate interview schedules, assessments, and other hiring-related meetings
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Ensure timely communication and a positive candidate experience from outreach to offer
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and timeline expectations
  • Support onboarding logistics in partnership with HR and operations teams
  • Assist with employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives
  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws and company policies
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of candidate and company information
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department
  • Assist with answering questions regarding benefits, policies, and HR programs
  • Maintain employee files and logs with accurate, organized records
  • Assist in creating and updating policies to ensure compliance with state, local, and federal laws
  • Assist with leave of absence paperwork, employment verifications, and related tasks
  • Plan and organize employee engagement activities and events such as summer outings, holiday parties, flu clinics, lunch-and-learns, and service days
  • Contribute to special projects as needed to support HR initiatives
  • Coordinate new hire scheduling, training, paperwork, travel arrangements, and overall onboarding requirements

Requirements

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player with a professional and positive demeanor
  • Strong judgment and the ability to handle confidential information discreetly
