Human Resources Director
Job Description
The Director of Human Resources at StandardAero leads HR strategy and service delivery across CRS sites in Cincinnati, Hillsboro, and Burlington. This role partners with site leaders to advance workforce planning, organizational change, performance enablement, and the employee experience within a safety-critical manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide HR Business Partner support to assigned Strategic Business Units within CRS, overseeing a population of 1,000+ employees.
- Translate enterprise direction into site action by guiding workforce strategy, organization design, and aligning human capital metrics with business goals.
- Lead organizational change management initiatives and implement adaptable systems to sustain transformation.
- Operationalize performance management processes at the SBU level, use analytics to identify gaps, deploy leadership mentoring programs, and strengthen leader commitment.
- Support identification and development of critical talent, lead succession planning, and drive leadership development across division SBUs.
- Partner with SBU VP/General Managers to ensure readiness for operational demands and maximize senior leadership team effectiveness.
- Oversee the deployment of employee experience initiatives and ensure leadership alignment throughout the organization.
- Develop and lead high-performing HR generalist teams to deliver superior business partner and operational support.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, including collaboration with Quality and Compliance on the FAA/DOT Drug & Alcohol Program, and manage applicable audits, employee relations investigations, and workplace incident response for assigned SBUs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in manufacturing, MRO, aerospace, or complex operations.
- 3+ years leading multi-site or multi-state HR teams of HRBPs and/or HR Generalists to high performance levels.
- 3+ years of budgeting experience and P&L awareness to align people decisions with financial objectives.
- 3+ years implementing initiatives across workforce strategy, organization design, change management, performance enablement, growth, talent optimization, and culture improvement.
- HR transformation experience and experience overseeing workplace investigations.
- Advanced capability in HR analytics and data-driven workforce planning, including turnover analysis and capacity forecasting.
- Ability to travel regularly among Cincinnati, Hillsboro, and Burlington for onsite presence, up to 40% travel.

Location
Cincinnati, OH; Hillsboro, OH; or Burlington, VT. Hybrid work arrangement, with residency within 20 miles of an assigned facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or similarly recognized certification.
- Exposure to mergers and acquisitions and site integrations is advantageous.
