Job Description

The Human Resources Generalist role at Legendary Fruit provides comprehensive support for HR policies, benefits administration, onboarding, training, recruitment, and compliance. This onsite position in Manson, Washington collaborates with managers to implement programs and ensure policy alignment across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers and supervisors to enforce HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Distribute policy updates and coordinate required training or educational initiatives.
  • Support the workers’ compensation program by guiding employees through new claim filings and ongoing claim management.
  • Oversee and administer employee training programs.
  • Manage benefits administration, including renewals, enrollments, changes, and handling employee inquiries.
  • Lead sourcing, recruitment, and onboarding activities in collaboration with leadership.
  • Administer the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding.
  • Process unemployment claims and employment verification requests.
  • Complete annual regulatory compliance filings.
  • Assist the Orchard HR/H-2A Manager with Orchard HR related functions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources (required).
  • Related experience may substitute for the education requirement.
  • Minimum of five years of human resources management experience (required).
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required).

  • Ability to plan, organize, and carry out assignments with minimal direction.
  • Capacity to analyze situations, interpret data, and make decisions with moderate impact on the immediate work unit.
  • Skill in organizing and prioritizing duties to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate files and records.
  • Physical requirements include hearing, seeing, speaking, and manual actions; ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
