Human Resources Generalist

The HR Generalist will manage day-to-day human resources operations onsite in Indian Orchard, MA, supporting employees and managers in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Employee relations: Act as a trusted resource for employees by addressing concerns, managing conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
• Recruitment and onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and extending job offers; conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
• Benefits administration: Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including sick leave and other employment programs.
• Compliance: Ensure that Youth On The Move Inc. complies with all federal, state, and local employment laws. Regularly review and update the employee handbook and policies to reflect current regulations.
• Performance management: Assist managers with employee performance reviews, assist management in the development of improvement plans, and facilitate training sessions to help employees grow and succeed.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
