Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
Hybrid contract role in Conyers, GA with a large non-profit client and a strong emphasis on employee relations, benefits administration, and performance and talent management. You’ll partner closely with internal leaders to support a productive, professional, friendly, and respectful workplace, while making the most of ADP Workforce Now and the ADP Talent platform across key HR modules.
Work setup: Hybrid in Atlanta, GA (30308), with 3 days per week in the office. Contract to hire basis.
Pay: $42 to $46 per hour (DOE).
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships between HR and internal staff to support a positive culture and work environment aligned to organizational policies and processes.
- Serve as an HR consultant to management and employees, guiding day-to-day people processes and promoting collaboration and consistency.
- Own employee relations matters by counseling management, supporting internal investigations, and documenting and reporting outcomes appropriately.
- Manage benefits administration including open enrollment, claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefits information to employees.
- Support performance and talent management initiatives and help prepare management data for the merit process.
- Maximize use of ADP Workforce Now for Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Benefits Administration, and other related modules.
- Partner with talent acquisition leads to help meet diverse staffing needs across the organization as required.
- Administer HR plans and procedures for all company personnel, including assistance with development and implementation of employee policies and procedures.
- Conduct HR training on a range of HR issues.
- Develop and maintain effective internal client relationships, programs, policies, and procedures to support operational efficiency and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
- Over 5 years of broad HR support experience required. Nonprofit experience is helpful.
- SPHR or PHR preferred, not required.
- Broad experience across HR functions with emphasis on Employee Relations (documentation & reporting), Benefits Administration support, and Performance Management.
- Extensive HRIS experience required, including 3+ years using ADP Workforce Now and the ADP Talent platform with modules for Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, and Merit.
- Experience supporting recruiting or talent acquisition is a plus.
- High competence with Microsoft Office Suite; basic understanding of common IT tasks (maintaining passwords, remote access, basic administration, email, etc.); SharePoint familiarity is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to service an internal customer base with a strong customer service mindset.
