Job Description

Wi-Fiber, Inc. is expanding its human resources leadership to support rapid nationwide growth. The Human Resources Manager will oversee HR operations, payroll, compliance, employee relations, and mergers and acquisitions activities across Wi-Fiber's locations, operating onsite from our Logan, Utah office to support multi-state teams.

Role overview

A high-impact, strategic leadership position responsible for managing HR operations across the United States. This role directs payroll, compliance, and employee relations, while also supporting mergers and acquisitions initiatives and ensuring consistent people practices across all states.

Reporting to

Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR operations across all sites, covering recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and adherence to federal and state labor laws.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on workforce planning and organizational design.
  • Oversee payroll and contribute to compensation planning and overall structure.
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
  • Direct compliance audits, maintain HR policies, and ensure regulatory alignment nationwide.
  • Support HR aspects of acquisitions, including due diligence and post-acquisition employee integration.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees, supervisors and managers, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Oversee the completion of HRIS implementation.
  • Manage sensitive employee information with discretion in line with privacy laws.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience operating across multiple states and entities
  • Background in employee relations, compensation, benefits, policy development, and compliance audits
  • Familiarity with payroll systems
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
